Good Will Hunting
I thought Good Will Hunting was a good film. I enjoyed the comedy in it and also the big fight scene. I also really liked the theme of this movie. Its about an abused foster child who never left Boston and grew up to be extremelly smart in Math. If you have a gift like he did you should put it to use no matter what kind of a life you had growing up. You have to learn to put things in the past and move forward. I also feel this is the reason why this movie has been so highly acclaimed over the years. I really liked Matt Damons character, Will Hunting, because he was very cocky and had an "I don't care" attitude. He didn't let no one push him around and he was very smart on top of it all. You don't expect someone with that type of personality to be so smart, which made the film very interesting. My favorite scene is the big fight scene with Will Hunting and his high school bully. I love the violence in movies because it adds so much drama, especially when Will Hunting threw the first punch, I nearly jumped out of my seat with excitement. I also like towards the end of the movie when he met with Robin Williams for the last time in the film because you seen the tough guy bust into tears after he kept telling him it wasn't his fault. I didn't like the fact that the professor tried to live his life through Will Hunting by trying to make him do things he wasn't ready for and also going behind his back and setting up meetings and etc. I feel that even though the professor was trying to help make Will successful, he should have let him do it on his own.
